36" × 36" — Acrylic on canvas
Seen from the Tower of the Americas, the city becomes a flattened map of streets, roofs, and green spaces. As an architect, I included three hotels I designed—small, deliberate shapes in the scene. Painted in a large square, the work highlights geometry and spatial relationships: broad planes, intersecting lines like drafts, and color shifts that imply light, distance, and material. Warm city tones contrast with cooler shadows. The piece is both a topographical view and a personal note on how my buildings sit within the city.
